Role & responsibilities 1. Data Management & Reporting: • Maintain and manage factory-related MIS databases, ensuring data accuracy and security. • Generate daily, weekly, and monthly production, inventory, and quality reports. • Analyze data to track key performance indicators (KPIs) like production efficiency, wastage, and cost analysis. • Provide data insights to support decision-making for factory operations. 2. IT & System Support: • Ensure smooth functioning of ERP, SAP, or other factory-related software. • Assist in troubleshooting system issues related to production, warehouse, and logistics software. • Work with IT teams to implement system upgrades and improvements. 3. Inventory & Production Support: • Maintain stock records and update inventory management systems. • Assist the supply chain team with data analysis for raw materials, procurement, and finished goods. • Monitor and report on stock movements to avoid shortages or overstocking. 4. Compliance & Documentation: • Ensure proper documentation of all system reports and records. • Maintain compliance with food safety and quality standards in reporting. • Support audits by providing accurate data and system records. 5. Coordination & Communication: • Work closely with production, quality, and supply chain teams for data updates. • Train factory staff on MIS software usage if required. • Act as a bridge between IT and other departments for system-related queries. Preferred candidate profile Experience in FMCG or food manufacturing sector. • Knowledge of automation and digital transformation in manufacturing. • Understanding of production planning and inventory control processes. Perks and benefits Bachelors degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related fields. • 2-5 years of experience in MIS, preferably in the Food & Beverage or Manufacturing industry. • Proficiency in MS Excel (Advanced), SQL, Power BI, and ERP/SAP systems. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Good communication skills to interact with multiple departments. • Knowledge of food industry compliance and reporting standards is an advantage.
