By aligning IT with business goals, we reduce risk and drive operational excellence. Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Microsoft 365 Architect. The Microsoft 365 Architect will be responsible for designing and implementing Microsoft 365 solutions, providing consulting services, and optimizing business processes. The role involves architecting cloud solutions, ensuring their alignment with business needs, and maintaining security and compliance configurations. Day-to-day tasks will include collaborating with clients, conducting assessments, and delivering comprehensive Microsoft 365 architecture strategies. Key Responsibilities: 1. Enterprise Architecture & Solution Design Architect M365 solutions tailored to business needs. Develop governance and security frameworks. Conduct readiness and roadmap assessments. Ensure hybrid cloud integration and third-party compatibility. 2. Implementation & Migration Lead enterprise-scale migrations (Exchange, SharePoint, Google Workspace, Lotus Notes to M365). Deploy M365 services and Azure AD, IAM, MFA. Use migration tools like ShareGate, MigrationWiz, FastTrack, etc. 3. Security & Compliance Management Implement Microsoft Defender, Purview, DLP, RBAC, etc. Ensure compliance (GDPR, HIPAA, ISO 27001, NIST). Design Zero Trust security architecture. 4. Optimization & Support Audit environments, optimize costs and licensing. Provide L3 support and liaise with Microsoft Premier Support. Required Qualifications & Skills Technical Skills Deep Microsoft 365 expertise (admin, security, deployment). Strong knowledge in Azure AD, IAM, Conditional Access, and Zero Trust. Experience with scripting (PowerShell), Power Automate, Power Apps. Hybrid cloud and AD sync experience (Azure AD Connect, ADFS). Proficient with M365 tools and third-party integrations Qualifications Excellent Communication and Consulting skills Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field Relevant Microsoft certifications are a plus Ability to work independently and remotely Show more Show less
