Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Economics tutor who can guide a student through Econ 500 topics, including indifference curves, utility functions, income offer curves, and Hicksian demand. The tutor should be able to explain mathematical derivations and help solve homework-level problems using clear, step-by-step reasoning.

Responsibilities:

Explain core microeconomic concepts (utility maximization, MRS, income and substitution effects).
Assist with problem sets similar to the attached homework.
Provide conceptual understanding and not just answers.
Be available for online tutoring sessions.
