Job Description

As a Microbiologist in Raipur, you will be responsible for the following key responsibilities: - Prepare and sterilize microbiological media, reagents, and buffers following standard protocols. - Perform microbiological testing of raw materials, in-process samples, finished products, and environmental samples. - Conduct microbial limit tests, pathogen detection, and preservative efficacy tests (PET). - Ensure compliance with applicable standards such as BIS, ISO, IS, USP, IP. - Maintain accurate records of experiments, observations, and results in lab documentation. - Operate and maintain lab instruments like autoclaves, incubators, laminar airflow cabinets, and microscopes. - Support method development and validation for new products or formulations. - Ensure good laboratory practices (GLP), hygiene, and biosafety procedures are adhered to at all times. Qualifications Required: - B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Microbiology or related field. - Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in microbiological testing and media preparation. - Practical knowledge of microbial culture techniques and aseptic handling. - Familiarity with regulatory requirements and quality standards. - Strong observation, documentation, and reporting skills. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team. Additionally, the preferred industry background for this role includes experience in Cosmetics, Pharmaceuticals, Food & Beverages, or Biotechnology sectors. Please note that the job type is Full-time with the work schedule being in the morning shift and the work location requiring in-person presence.
