DESIGNATION: MICE SALES MANAGER LOCATION: DELHI Job Summary: The MICE sales manager is responsible for driving sales and revenue within the MICE (meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions) segment of the travel industry. This role involves identifying and targeting potential clients, understanding their event requirements, proposing tailored solutions, and effectively managing the sales process to achieve set targets and contribute to the overall growth of the organization. Key Responsibilities: 1. Identify Potential Clients : Research and target corporate clients interested in hosting MICE events. 2. Client Retention : Foster strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and drive growth. 3. Lead Generation : Engage in cold calling, networking, and attending industry events to establish connections and generate leads. 4. Understand Client Needs : Consult with potential clients to assess their specific event requirements, objectives, and budget constraints. 5. Propose Solutions : Develop tailored MICE packages that align with client needs and expectations. 6. Create Proposals : Prepare detailed proposals outlining event specifics, including venues, accommodations, catering, and transportation options. 7. Deliver Presentations : Present proposals to clients, addressing their inquiries and concerns effectively. 8. Negotiate Agreements : Negotiate terms and pricing to create mutually beneficial arrangements for both the client and the organization. 9. Prepare Contracts : Draft contracts that accurately reflect the agreed-upon terms and conditions. 10. Manage Client Relationships : Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, adapting to their evolving needs over time. 11. Act as a Key Contact : Serve as the primary point of contact throughout the planning and execution phases of events. 12. Collaborate Internally : Work closely with operations, logistics, and event planning teams to ensure seamless execution of events. 13. Coordinate Marketing Efforts : Collaborate with marketing teams to develop promotional materials and campaigns for MICE services. 14. Achieve Sales Targets : Set and meet sales goals as defined by the organization to drive revenue growth. 15. Maintain Accurate Records : Keep detailed records of sales activities, client interactions, and progress toward goals. 16. Stay Informed on Industry Trends : Monitor industry developments, competitor offerings, and market dynamics to refine sales strategies. 17. Conduct Post-Event Follow-Ups : Reach out to clients after events to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement. Job Types : Full-time Salary Package : 5L 11L per month Experience : 5-8 years of experience in Sales and business development within the MICE & Events industry Working days : Mon-Sat Required Skills: Negotiation and persuasion abilities. Excellent presentation skills. Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in using sales and CRM software. Knowledge of the MICE industry, including event planning and logistics, is a plus. Flexibility to travel for client meetings and industry events as required.
