Job Title: MICE Manager Job Overview: The MICE Manager will be responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions (MICE) for corporate clients, organizations, and partners. The role involves managing all logistical and operational aspects of MICE events to ensure seamless execution, maximizing client satisfaction, and delivering memorable experiences. Key Responsibilities: 1. Event Planning & Coordination: Lead and manage the planning and execution of MICE events, including conferences, meetings, exhibitions, and incentive programs. Develop event strategies based on client requirements, budgets, and objectives. Coordinate with clients to ensure their needs and goals are met for each event. Develop detailed event proposals, timelines, and budgets. Oversee all event logistics, including venue selection, vendor management, and transportation coordination. 2. Vendor Management: Liaise with vendors, suppliers, and third-party service providers to ensure smooth event execution. Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with suppliers, such as caterers, AV companies, decorators, and transportation services. 3. Team Leadership & Collaboration: Supervise and mentor event staff, ensuring they perform tasks efficiently and effectively. Collaborate with internal teams such as marketing, sales, and operations to ensure alignment on event objectives. Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate promotional, technical, and operational components for events. 4. Client Management & Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, partners, and stakeholders. Provide consistent communication and updates to clients, ensuring transparency throughout the planning and execution process. Address any concerns or issues promptly to ensure client satisfaction. 5. Budget Management: Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring that projects are completed within financial constraints. Monitor expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure high-quality execution within the allocated budget. 6. Marketing & Promotion: Collaborate with the marketing team to promote MICE events and ensure effective communication strategies. Develop promotional materials, presentations, and campaigns to attract attendees and sponsors. Manage event registration and attendee communication to ensure a smooth event experience. 7. Post-Event Evaluation: Conduct post-event evaluations, gathering feedback from clients and participants to assess event success. Prepare reports on event outcomes, ROI, and areas for improvement. Continuously improve event strategies based on feedback and industry trends. 8. Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and safety standards for each event. Manage risk assessment and develop contingency plans for unexpected circumstances. 9. Industry Research & Innovation: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in the MICE industry, incorporating innovative ideas into event planning. Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to enhance professional knowledge and relationships. ________________________________________ Qualifications & Skills: Bachelors degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (preferred). Proven experience (5-10 years) in MICE management, event planning, or a similar role. Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills. Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities. Knowledge of budget management and financial oversight. Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances.
