Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct
classroom and practical training
sessions for MHE operators on various equipment types (e.g., forklifts, reach trucks, stackers, pallet trucks).
Ensure all operators are trained on
safe operating procedures
,
pre-operation checks
, and
emergency protocols
.
Maintain and update training materials and
Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
related to MHE.
Perform
evaluations and re-certifications
of existing operators at defined intervals.
Keep records of all training sessions, assessments, and operator certifications.
Support site audits and ensure
regulatory and safety compliance
for MHE operations.
Report unsafe practices or training gaps to the safety or operations team.
Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure MHEs used for training are in good condition.
Stay updated on the latest safety norms, regulations, and technologies related to MHE.

Key Skills & Competencies:

Strong knowledge of MHE operations and safety protocols.
Effective training, presentation, and communication skills.
Ability to assess operator skills and provide constructive feedback.
Good understanding of
OSHA / local regulatory standards
related to MHE.
Documentation and record-keeping skills.

Qualifications & Experience:

Graduate
Certified MHE Trainer
from a recognized body (preferred).
Minimum
35 years
of experience in operating and/or training on MHEs.
Experience in a
warehouse, manufacturing, or logistics environment
is essential.
Basic computer skills (MS Office, Excel, Email).

Additional Requirements:

Willingness to travel to different locations/sites if required.
Physically fit and capable of conducting hands-on demonstrations.
