Mfg Support Specialist II

Role Overview: As a member of the ISC manufacturing organization, your primary role will be to support the achievement of (SBG) and help in meeting various metrics such as Safety, Quality, Inventory, Delivery, and Cost. You will act as the central information collection point between managers and staff, working closely with the materials management, quality, and engineering teams to resolve a variety of problems on the shop floor. Additionally, you will serve as the liaison between supervisors and shop floor employees, assisting in achieving cell performance goals. Key Responsibilities: - Interact effectively with both internal and external customers to address their needs and concerns. - Provide training, coaching, and mentoring to shop floor employees to enhance their skills and performance. - Follow standardized work processes set by leadership to ensure consistency and efficiency. - Drive continuous improvement initiatives and work towards eliminating waste in manufacturing processes. - Implement rapid-problem solving processes to address issues promptly and effectively. - Execute the escalation process for any critical matters that require immediate attention. - Take responsibility for ensuring equipment effectiveness and maintenance. - Implement plans to address any issues that may arise during day-to-day operations. Qualifications Required: - Strong communication skills and ability to interact with a diverse range of stakeholders. - Previous experience in manufacturing or production environment is preferred. - Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies is a plus. - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic team environment. - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field is desirable.,
