Job Description

- In depth of knowledge of forging processes, tooling and metallurgy related to various aspects of it. - Hands on experience of development of forging profiles, feasibility study of open die forgings, Ingot weight calculation, heat treatment profiles and sampling plans for mechanical testing - Should have experience of design and analysis of the new tools and dies for open die forgings to improve the productivity and cost optimization - Should have good knowledge of different kind of heat treatment processes ,different material grades and its process parameter for forging and heat treatment - Sound knowledge of various ASME/ASTM, DIN , EN and other national and International standards/ Codes applicable for material and testing etc. - Hands- on experience of AutoCAD, MS office and Knowledge of Drawing preparation tools and various aspects of Engineering drawing. - Basic knowledge of Steel making ,Heat Treatment ,material testing, NDE techniques and Machining - Should have experience in review of technical specifications/ Part drawings and develop documents for customer approval and for manufacturing shops. -Exposure to 3D modelling, simulation of forging and casting processes - Exposure to ISO and other quality systems
