Location: Gurugram (On-site) Experience Required: Minimum 3+ years handling calling-based sales teams Metal Market is a SaaS-enabled B2B marketplace and custom manufacturing ecosystem built for India’s steel and metals industry. We are seeking a high-energy Sales Team Lead experienced in managing calling teams and driving conversions in B2B NBFC financing and steel raw material procurement. The ideal candidate is a proven people manager who can coach, mentor, track performance, and build a high-conversion sales engine. Key Responsibilities Team Leadership & Coaching Lead, mentor & motivate a calling-based sales team to achieve daily/weekly/monthly targets. Conduct regular training on pitching, objection handling, product knowledge, negotiation & CRM hygiene. Monitor individual performance, run call audits, and ensure quality benchmarks are met. Sales & Revenue Growth Drive conversions for B2B steel raw material orders, NBFC financing, and value-added metal services. Track the complete sales funnel: lead allocation → follow-ups → RFQ → negotiation → closure. Build and maintain strong relationships with buyers & suppliers to drive repeat business. Operational Excellence Coordinate with fulfillment, pricing, and supplier teams for smooth order execution. Ensure accurate CRM usage for lead tracking, call logs, and sales analytics. Strategic Input Analyze sales trends, buyer behavior, pricing patterns, and competitor activity. Provide structured feedback to product and ops teams for continuous improvement. Identify new opportunities within steel categories, NBFC offerings, and emerging buyer segments. Required Skills & Experience Sales & Customer Handling Strong experience in B2B telesales/calling-based selling environments. Ability to handle complex negotiations and high-value order closures. Team Management Minimum 3 years managing calling teams of 10–20+ executives. Proven success in improving productivity and building high-performance teams. Industry Expertise Experience in steel raw material sales (plates, coils, TMT, pipes, fabrication services) — preferred. Experience in B2B NBFC financing, unsecured business loans, or trade credit. Background in B2B marketplaces or procurement tech is an advantage. Analytical & Technical Skills Strong understanding of dashboards, funnel metrics, reporting, and target planning. Familiar with CRM systems, WhatsApp-based sales processes, and digital procurement workflows. Other Requirements Excellent communication in Hindi & English. Strong problem-solving skills and ownership mindset.
