About the Role We are seeking an experienced MERN Stack Developer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in building scalable web applications using MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality web applications. Key Responsibilities Develop, maintain, and enhance full-stack applications using the MERN stack . Design and implement RESTful APIs and backend services in Node.js and Express.js. Build responsive and interactive front-end interfaces using React.js, Redux (or Context API), and modern UI frameworks. Work with MongoDB to design schemas, write optimized queries, and manage database performance. Integrate third-party APIs, authentication mechanisms (JWT, OAuth), and cloud services as needed. Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, and performance tuning. Collaborate with designers, product owners, and other developers to deliver high-quality features. Write clean, well-structured, and maintainable code following best practices. Ensure the application is optimized for speed, scalability, and security. Implement testing (unit & integration) and assist in DevOps deployment processes. Required Skills & Qualifications 3–4 years of hands-on experience in full-stack development using MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js . Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) , JSON, and asynchronous programming concepts. Experience with React Hooks, Redux Toolkit / Context API , component-based architecture. Solid understanding of server-side development with Express.js and Node.js. Experience with REST APIs, GraphQL (optional), and microservices architecture . Good understanding of database schema design, aggregation pipelines, and indexing in MongoDB. Experience with authentication/authorization methods: JWT, OAuth2. Familiarity with Git version control , CI/CD pipelines, and deployment tools (Docker, AWS, Azure, GCP preferred). Experience working with agile development processes (Scrum or Kanban). Preferred Skills Experience with TypeScript . Knowledge of Next.js , WebSockets, Socket.io, or real-time applications. Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, Cypress). Knowledge of cloud architecture and DevOps practices. Soft Skills Strong problem-solving and debugging skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
