Mern(Node and React) Full Stack | Junior Developer

As a MERN Stack Developer at GlobalLogic, your main responsibilities will include: - Full-Stack Development: Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications using MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js (MERN). - Frontend Development: Implement intuitive and responsive user interfaces using React.js. Work with front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript) to create dynamic web applications. - Backend Development: Develop server-side logic and APIs using Node.js and Express.js, ensuring robust functionality and scalability. - Database Management: Work with MySQL to design and maintain data models and databases, ensuring effective data management and optimized performance. - Integration: Develop and manage API integrations between the front-end and back-end, ensuring efficient data transfer and smooth communication across the stack. - Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability. Implement caching and other optimization techniques as needed. - Version Control: Use Git for version control and collaborate with other developers through Git repositories (e.g., GitHub, GitLab). - Collaboration: Work closely with UX/UI designers, product managers, and other developers to ensure seamless application functionality and design. - Testing and Debugging: Write unit and integration tests, debug issues, and ensure high-quality code is maintained. - Agile Development: Participate in Agile sprints and collaborate in the planning, development, and deployment cycles. - Continuous Learning: Keep up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in web development, and proactively suggest improvements to current systems. Qualifications and Required Skills: - Strong experience with the MERN stack (MySQL, PostGre, Express.js, React.js, Node.js). - Proficiency in JavaScript and ES6+ features. - Solid understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and frameworks like React.js. - Experience with Node.js for server-side development and Express.js for building RESTful APIs. - Familiarity with RDBMS / MySQL for building and managing NoSQL databases. - Knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services architecture. - Experience with version control systems like Git. - Understanding of asynchronous programming and handling of async data in JavaScript. - Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills. - Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
