MERN Stack Developer

Position: MERN Stack Developer (Next.js Mandatory) Experience Level: 3–5 years Location: Remote Employment Type: Full-time Role Overview We are looking for a talented MERN Stack Developer with mandatory experience in Next.js, strong full-stack development skills, and hands-on exposure to ERP systems and product development. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working with modern AI-assisted coding tools such as Cursor AI and have a solid understanding of prompt engineering to enhance development workflows. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Nextjs and Node.js. Build robust, scalable, and high-performance front-end interfaces using Next.js (SSR, SSG, ISR, API routes). Contribute to the development and enhancement of ERP modules, ensuring seamless integration and performance. Work on end-to-end product development, from concept to deployment and support. Implement architecture best practices and produce clean, maintainable, and well-documented code. Leverage AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Cursor AI) to accelerate delivery and maintain coding standards. Apply prompt engineering principles to increase efficiency in AI-driven code generation and problem-solving. Collaborate with product managers, designers, and QA teams to ensure on-time and high-quality delivery. Required Skills & Qualifications 3–5 years of proven experience as a MERN Stack Developer. Mandatory: In-depth hands-on experience with Next.js. Strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript and modern front-end frameworks. Experience working on ERP systems, including module development, customization, or integration. Demonstrated involvement in product development lifecycles (MVP to production). Solid understanding of API design, authentication, and database modeling. Experience working with AI-assisted tools (preferably Cursor AI). Basic to intermediate understanding of prompt engineering. Excellent debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure. Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
