Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced MERN Stack Developer with a decade of hands-on experience in designing and developing scalable web applications. The ideal candidate should have expertise in MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js, along with a working knowledge of basic DevOps practices such as CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and cloud deployment. Key Responsibilities: Architect, design, and develop full-stack web applications using the MERN stack. Collaborate with Client, Product Managers, UI/UX designers, and other developers to deliver high-quality software solutions. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code with proper unit and integration tests. Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and security. Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing applications. Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers. Implement and manage basic DevOps processes including: o Version control using Git/GitHub/GitLab o CI/CD setup (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI) o Basic Docker usage and container orchestration understanding o Deployment on cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP basic level) Work with NoSQL (MongoDB) and manage database schema and performance. Required Skills: Strong hands-on experience with the MERN stack: o MongoDB (including aggregation, indexing, performance tuning) o Express.js o React.js (including hooks, Redux, component lifecycle) o Node.js (including async programming, REST APIs, WebSockets) Strong JavaScript and ES6+ skills Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and Microservices architecture Experience in integrating third-party APIs and services Familiarity with testing frameworks like Jest, Mocha, or Cypress Version control using Git (GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket) DevOps Exposure (Basic Knowledge): CI/CD pipelines: GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins Containerization: Basic Docker usage (Dockerfiles, docker-compose) Understanding of cloud services (e.g., AWS EC2/S3/Lambda or GCP equivalents) Basic shell scripting and Linux server management Exposure to monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana) preferred but not mandatory Show more Show less
