Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Production Planning and Coordination: Develop and implement production plans to meet customer orders and deadlines. Coordinate with various departments (design, production, quality control) to ensure smooth workflow and timely execution. Monitor production progress and address any issues or delays proactively. Sourcing and Costing: Identify and select suppliers of raw materials (fabrics, trims, etc.). Negotiate prices and terms with suppliers to ensure competitive costs. Conduct cost analysis and ensure that production costs are within budget. Quality Control: Ensure that products meet quality standards throughout the production process. Work with the quality control team to identify and address any quality issues. Implement quality control measures to prevent defects and ensure product integrity. Sample Management: Manage the development and production of samples for new products or styles. Ensure that samples meet quality and design requirements. Coordinate with the design team to make any necessary revisions to samples. Communication and Collaboration: Maintain open communication with buyers, suppliers, and internal teams. Provide regular updates on production progress and any potential issues. Collaborate effectively with other departments to ensure smooth operations. Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods. Ensure that sufficient inventory is available to meet production needs. Manage inventory storage and handling to prevent damage or loss. Shipping and Logistics: Coordinate the shipping of finished goods to customers. Ensure that goods are shipped on time and in good condition. Manage shipping costs and logistics to minimize expenses.
