Role Overview

HVAC systems

Key Responsibilities

1. MEP Planning & Coordination

• Lead end-to-end MEP planning, scheduling, and execution across multiple project sites.
  
• Coordinate with architects, consultants, subcontractors, and internal project teams to ensure seamless integration of MEP services.
  
• Conduct technical review of MEP drawings, designs, shop drawings, and specifications.
  

2. HVAC & Fire-Fighting Expertise

• Oversee installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of HVAC systems including chillers, AHUs, ducting, VRF/VRV systems, pumps, and ventilation systems.
  
• Supervise Fire-Fighting systems including hydrant systems, sprinkler systems, fire pumps, detection systems, and suppression systems.
  
• Ensure compliance with IS standards, NFPA, NBC, and local authority norms.
  

3. Project Execution & Quality Assurance

• Monitor site execution to ensure timely progress and adherence to approved drawing, BOQ, and quality standards.
  
• Verify material submittals, vendor approvals, and ensure correct installation practices.
  
• Conduct regular site inspections, resolve technical issues, and guide site execution teams.
  

4. Budgeting & Vendor Management

• Prepare MEP cost estimates, BOQs, and assist in tendering and vendor finalization.
  
• Monitor project budgets, track material consumption, and control costs without compromising quality.
  
• Coordinate with procurement for timely delivery of MEP materials and equipment.
  

5. Testing, Commissioning & Handover

• Plan, supervise, and validate MEP system testing & commissioning activities.
  
• Ensure documentation, as-built drawings, O&M manuals, and final handover documentation.
  
• Support client and consultant inspections for project sign-off.
  

6. Leadership & Reporting

• Lead a multidisciplinary MEP team including engineers, supervisors, technicians, and subcontractors.
  
• Generate MIS reports, project status updates, progress charts, and risk assessments for management.
  
• Ensure safety compliance and implement best site practices.
