Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Design & Planning: Develop MEP system designs, layouts, and calculations in accordance with project requirements and industry standards CPDW, DRDO, NBCC, MES. Review and interpret architectural and engineering drawings, ensuring compatibility with MEP systems. Coordinate MEP designs with structural, architectural, and other disciplines. Project Execution & Supervision: Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems. Ensure MEP works comply with approved drawings, specifications, and project timelines. Conduct site inspections to monitor work progress, quality, and safety compliance. Coordination & Communication: Collaborate with architects, contractors, and consultants to resolve technical issues. Liaise with suppliers and vendors to ensure material quality and availability. Attend project meetings and provide updates on MEP activities. Quality & Compliance: Ensure MEP installations comply with local codes, regulations, and safety standards. Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify and rectify defects. Prepare technical reports, documentation, and as-built drawings. Cost Management & Optimization: Monitor project budgets related to MEP works and control unnecessary expenditures. Suggest energy-efficient and cost-effective solutions for MEP systems. Evaluate and recommend appropriate materials and equipment for projects.
