Job Overview To monitor the construction progress and control the quality of MEP works mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems to be completed within allowed time and budget. in various construction projects. This role requires a deep understanding of engineering principles, effective communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders to ensure that all systems function efficiently and meet project specifications. Typical Duties and Responsibilities Oversee the installation and commissioning of MEP systems as per GFC drawings. Perform regular inspections and maintenance checks on existing systems. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes. Supervising and managing construction project MEP activities from start to finish, ensuring adherence to project plans and specifications Prepare and manage project documentation, including reports and technical specifications. Provide technical support and guidance to construction teams and subcontractors . Ensure that all building services meet technical standard and local authority regulations Liaise with service engineers & technicians, surveyors, architectural technologists and other construction professionals To be understandable of product/ materials and equipment to be used in various systems To be aware of installation methods & correct sequence of work Prepare reports, drawings and technical specifications Carry out tests on systems and make changes to plans where necessary Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed Perform other tasks as required Education and Experience A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field is required. A minimum of 6 -7 years of experience in MEP execution of disciplines such as Electrical, HVAC, PHE, Firefighting, FA/PA Systems, IBMS, etc from start to closeout and project management is preferred. Computer software literacy MS Office/CAD/MEP design software (optional) . Required Skills and Qualifications Strong knowledge of MEP systems and building codes. Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
