As a Medical Writer at Dominant Translation, you will be responsible for preparing, formatting, and organizing medical documentation and case reports in accordance with industry standards. Your role will involve performing thorough quality checks on translated documents to ensure linguistic accuracy, consistency, and compliance with client requirements. You will also manage and maintain translation data and files effectively, ensuring streamlined access and version control. Collaboration with translators, editors, and project managers to meet project deadlines and quality expectations will be a key aspect of your job. Additionally, you will assist in implementing best practices for medical translation workflows and documentation standards. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare, format, and organize medical documentation and case reports according to industry standards - Perform quality checks on translated documents for linguistic accuracy and compliance - Manage translation data and files effectively for streamlined access and version control - Coordinate with translators, editors, and project managers to meet project deadlines and quality expectations - Assist in implementing best practices for medical translation workflows and documentation standards Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Medical, Pharmacy, Linguistics, or related fields - Excellent command of English; knowledge of other languages is a plus - Attention to detail and strong organizational skills - Experience in translation, medical writing, or documentation (preferred but not mandatory) - Proficiency in MS Office and translation software tools (e.g., SDL Trados, MemoQ) is an advantage In addition to the job responsibilities and qualifications, Dominant Translation is a leading provider of comprehensive language translation services specializing in delivering high-quality translations across various sectors.
