Malligi Nursing Home is looking for Medical Transcription Professional to join our dynamic team and embark on a rewarding career journey Transcription: Listen to audio recordings of dictated medical reports and accurately transcribe them into written documents using word processing software or specialized transcription software Edit and Proofread: Review transcribed documents for accuracy, grammar, punctuation, and clarity Edit and proofread documents to ensure they meet quality standards and are free of errors Medical Terminology: Possess a strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, and procedures to accurately transcribe medical reports Compliance: Adhere to medical transcription guidelines, standards, and legal requirements, including patient confidentiality (HIPAA compliance) and other regulatory guidelines Formatting: Format transcribed documents according to specified guidelines, including margins, font styles, and document structure Research: Conduct research as needed to clarify medical terms, procedures, or diagnoses mentioned in the dictation Communication: Collaborate with healthcare professionals, transcription team members, and supervisors to clarify dictation, address transcription issues, and ensure accuracy in medical reports Time Management: Manage workload efficiently to meet transcription deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively
