Skillset required for Virtual Nurse Analyst role as follows: Clinical Nursing care knowledge: Medical terminologies, medical abbreviations, diseases, and treatments Knowledge of common medications, their uses, and potential side effects Ability to interpret lab results and diagnostic tests Ability to correlate the patient's condition with vital signs Basic knowledge on polysubstance (drugs) abuse Knowledge on various mental illnesses Communication and Language: Good reading comprehension of medical documents Strong written communication Ability to summarize patient's medical records Good verbal communication Knowledge in Healthcare documentation: Understand general medical reports documented for patients Experience in documenting patient's status Understand patient confidentiality, data privacy, and ethical practices in patient care Knowledge on Medico-legal issues and its importance Other Softskills: Critical thinking and ability to correlate and make quick decisions Ability to manage time well and manage high volume of work Flexibility and adaptability to the evolving and changing needs Ability to work with team and be a team player Customer service skills by providing empathetic, courteous, and polite responses while adhering to the guidelines JOB DESCRIPTION: Review clinical documents and understand presenting condition, diagnosis, and treatment plan Interpret patient's condition from vital signs, lab readings, and medications prescribed Determine the treatment needs of the patient and correlate if the Nursing home has ability to serve the requirement Make admission decision and communicate what is required to get the patient admitted to the nursing home Communicate through email and short messages to the appropriate client contacts Document patient information and notes in the EHR (Electronic Health Record) system Understand the services and infrastructure of each nursing homes Handle priority requests swiftly and provide quick and accurate decisions Effectively manage time to handle multiple reviews and handle documentation requirements
