Job Description

We at 2070Health are building Indias leading infusion business, focused on delivering best-in-class outcomes, exceptional patient experiences, expanded access, and curated ancillary services through day care centres. We are hiring for a Medical Oncology Nurse , you will provide leadership, guidance, and clinical expertise to the nursing staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care. Your knowledge, experience, and strong leadership skills will contribute to the overall success of the nursing team. Key Responsibilities - 1. Direct Patient Care: Administer advanced oncology treatments, including chemotherapy and immunotherapy, and manage complex patient cases. Efficient in managing side effects related to chemotherapy / immunotherapy / targeted therapy administration like extravasation, anaphylaxis, nausea/vomiting, etc. 2. Chemoport PICC Line Management : Efficiently insert, maintain, and monitor chemoports and PICC lines to support patients requiring long-term intravenous therapies, including chemotherapy, nutrition, or antibiotics. 3. Leadership and Mentorship: Supervise and mentor nursing staff, assign tasks, and provide clinical guidance to ensure adherence to best practices. 4. Collaborative Care Planning: Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans. 5. Quality Assurance: Monitor patient outcomes, ensure compliance with established protocols, and participate in quality improvement initiatives. 6. Training and Orientation: Lead the orientation and ongoing training of new and existing nursing staff. 7. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all practices align with current healthcare regulations and standards. 8. Documentation: Maintain precise and comprehensive patient records and documentation. 9. Positive Work Environment: Foster a collaborative and supportive atmosphere that promotes professional growth and high-quality patient care 1. Educational Background: B.Sc. in Nursing (preferred) or General Nursing & oncology nursing, preferably in a day care or outpatient setting. 2. Experience: Prior 5-8 years of experience in chemotherapy day care is preferred 3. Clinical Proficiency: Strong understanding of medical terminology, oncology treatment protocols, and patient assessment techniques. 4. Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare team members, providing compassionate support and clear information. 5. Organizational Skills : Demonstrated ability to manage multiple patients, prioritize tasks, and maintain meticulous records .
