Role & responsibilities: This role is responsible for planning and implementation of marketing and branding activities, media promotions with the objective of driving sales, building brand identity and increasing brand awareness and recall within the limits of the overall reliance consumer brands' marketing strategy. 1.Strategy and Planning - Translate overall marketing strategies and goals into actionable monthly marketing plans that improve brand awareness and recall for all categories Determine annual marketing budget required to meet or exceed ATL/ BTL marketing goals, traffic and sales increase % goals in order to achieve business growth and profitability Drive product launches and brand promotions across platforms to help drive awareness and preference for the brand 2.Media & Digital Marketing - Collaborate with cross-functional teams as well as PR agencies, creative agencies, media planning & buying agencies, digital agencies, and production suppliers to produce effective marketing campaigns Devise broad campaigns across media platforms to promote universal brand recall and improve customer preference for brand Drive content to drive brand engagement across social platforms Implement, measure and report performance of all marketing campaigns 3.Brand Management - Strengthen brand preference through establishing a distinctive competitive advantage for the brand Oversee adherence to brand guidelines and maintain consistent brand representation over both the physical & digital platforms across all customer touchpoints 4.Campaigns & Events - Set and define execution standards of BTL marketing activities nationally and ensure consistency across regions, categories and other relevant stakeholders Design, set goals, implement, measure and report performance of all BTL marketing campaigns Enable national tie ups for brand promotions and workshops across various geographies Create and execute new campaigns as well as deploy extensions of existing campaigns for focus stores & focus cities defined in collaboration with operations teams and measure the productivity of the same 5.Operational Excellence - Monitor competitive intelligence through timely inputs from media agencies as well as internal regional marketing and sales teams Drive consumer insights, competitive analysis, product positioning etc. Monitor and drive adherence to ATL, BTL, media budgets in-line with the overall marketing budget Review effectiveness of promotions by monitoring change in revenue / sales / profitability numbers before and after the promotions 6.People Development - Actively encourage creative thinking among team members to enable the generation of out-of-the-box ideas Articulate key performance indicators and competency requirements for team members Hold regular communication meetings with team to share organizational updates, functional priorities, performance updates, resolve issues, etc.
