Job Description for Project Work, Mechanical Press Installation, and Office Work Position: Project Engineer / Mechanical Engineer / Diploma Fresher Location: Bangalore Company: Adhvika Forge Tech Job Overview: Adhvika Forge Tech is looking for a skilled and motivated Project Engineer / Mechanical Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing various project works, ensuring the successful installation and commissioning of mechanical presses, and handling office-related tasks such as mechanical drawing preparation, client updates, and project tracking. The candidate should have strong communication skills, a solid understanding of mechanical systems, and the ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team. Key Responsibilities: 1. Project Work Management Planning & Coordination: Develop, implement, and manage project timelines, schedules, and resources to ensure successful completion of projects within the set deadlines and budget. Client Communication: Regularly interact with clients to provide updates, answer queries, and resolve any issues. Maintain positive client relationships and ensure their needs are met throughout the project lifecycle. Quality Assurance: Ensure that all project deliverables meet the company’s quality standards, including rigorous quality checks and inspections at various stages of the project. Resource Allocation: Allocate the necessary resources (both human and material) to each project phase, ensuring that resources are optimally utilized. Project Documentation: Maintain accurate records of project activities, including correspondence, designs, updates, and reports for internal and external use. 2. Mechanical Press Installation and Commissioning Installation of Mechanical Presses: Oversee and manage the installation of mechanical presses at customer sites, ensuring the installation process follows company procedures and specifications. Commissioning: Supervise the commissioning of mechanical presses, ensuring they are properly tested, calibrated, and ready for use. Resolve any installation or commissioning issues promptly. Team Supervision: Work with field engineers and technicians to coordinate and supervise the installation process. Ensure all safety protocols are followed during installation and commissioning. Training and Support: Provide training and support to clients on operating the newly installed mechanical presses. Offer troubleshooting assistance and ensure the client is satisfied with the machine's functionality. Documentation of Installations: Maintain detailed records of installations, including technical specifications, manuals, and any customizations made during the process. 3. Office WorkMechanical Drawing Preparation: Create and update mechanical drawings, designs, and layouts for machinery, including detailed technical specifications, drawings, and schematics. Ensure that all drawings adhere to industry standards and client specifications. Client Updates: Prepare and provide regular updates on project status to clients, including progress reports, timelines, and any changes to the original scope of work. Ensure that clients are informed of any issues or delays and manage expectations effectively. Project Updates: Track the progress of all ongoing projects and provide internal updates to project managers, teams, and stakeholders. Ensure that all milestones and deadlines are met. Coordinate with the production, installation, and support teams to ensure project success. Documentation Management: Organize and maintain all project-related documentation, including drawings, contracts, and client correspondence. Ensure that all records are properly archived for easy retrieval and future reference. Internal Communication: Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth communication and coordination throughout the project lifecycle. Participate in team meetings to discuss project progress, challenges, and resolutions. Skills & Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. A master’s degree or certifications in project management is a plus. Experience: Minimum of [X] years of experience in project management, mechanical press installation, and commissioning. Experience in handling client communication and office work is also preferred. Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, machinery, and mechanical press operations. Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail in preparing accurate mechanical drawings and documentation. Project Management: Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, with the ability to prioritize tasks, delegate effectively, and manage time efficiently.
