Mechanical Production Manager

As a Mechanical Project Manager, you will lead the complete execution of mechanical projects from planning to final handover to the customer. Your responsibilities will include coordinating activities between various departments such as design, purchase, quality, and service teams to ensure a smooth project flow. Additionally, you will be responsible for ensuring timely delivery, adherence to customer specifications, and quality standards. Conducting project review meetings, tracking progress, and implementing corrective actions for any delays will also be a key part of your role. Key Responsibilities: - Lead complete mechanical project execution - Coordinate interdepartmental activities for smooth project flow - Ensure timely delivery and adherence to quality standards - Conduct project review meetings and track progress - Review and interpret 2D & 3D drawings - Supervise fabrication, machining, and assembly of mechanical parts - Monitor machine utilization and production efficiency - Identify in-house vs. outsourced jobs based on capability, cost, and timelines - Develop and manage a reliable supplier base - Evaluate supplier performance on quality, delivery, and cost - Manage tool room operations - Supervise machining processes - Ensure adherence to ISO and quality management systems - Plan and monitor material requirements and inventory levels - Control production costs, wastage, and resource utilization - Lead and mentor a team of engineers, supervisors, and technicians - Provide training and guidance on production methods, safety, and quality standards Qualifications Required: - Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in Mechanical / Production Engineering - Experience: 5 years or more in mechanical production management, project execution, and fabrication - Hands-on exposure to machine building / SPM / fabrication / automation equipment industries preferred - Proficiency in AutoCAD, CREO, or other 3D design software - Knowledge of manufacturing processes, fabrications, sheet metal, and machine assembly In addition to the role and responsibilities, you will be offered benefits including health insurance and Provident Fund.
