Mechanical Engineering Intern

Role Overview: At Quintrans, you will be part of a team that is reimagining how electromagnetic systems work and focusing on breakthrough technologies in motion control and intelligent automation. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with electrical and embedded systems engineers to design next-gen motion systems, assist in CAD modeling and prototyping, support testing and iteration of high-performance components, contribute to design reviews, and work hands-on with tools, materials, and sensors to validate designs in the lab. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with electrical and embedded systems engineers to design next-gen motion systems (linear motors, actuators, etc.) - Assist in CAD modeling, prototyping, and thermal/structural analysis of mechanical sub-assemblies - Support testing and iteration of high-performance components including housings, mounts, and custom motion hardware - Contribute to design reviews and bring a fresh, critical perspective to novel mechanical problems - Work hands-on with tools, materials, and sensors to validate designs in the lab Qualifications Required: - Final year B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or recently graduated - Curious, hands-on, and self-motivated with a solid grasp of core mechanical concepts (dynamics, materials, thermals) - Comfortable with CAD tools (SolidWorks) and hands-on with FEA tools like ANSYS/Hyperworks - Bonus if you've worked on DIY projects, robotics, mechatronics, or participated in competitions like Formula Student, SAE Aero, or robotics clubs - Not afraid to fail fast, learn quickly, and get your hands dirty - Preferably Based out of Pune (Note: No additional details of the company were mentioned in the job description),
