Job Title : Engineer-I, Mechanical - Reverse Engineering Reporting To : Engineering Manager Location : GEC-Noida Position Requirements: We are seeking a highly motivated and technically adept Engineer, Mechanical with up to 5 years of experience to join our Reverse Engineering team. You will be instrumental in understanding the intricacies of existing products, extracting critical design information, and contributing to the development of new and improved products. Role and Responsibilities: Study popular products and technology and explore their applications to Pentair Family product. Develop new concepts for Pentair family of product applications. Creation of 3D models and 2D drawings from physical components using reverse engineering techniques. Utilize various measurement tools and software for precise data capture and analysis. Conduct detailed analysis of existing products to identify design features, materials, and manufacturing processes. Collaborate with engineers from different disciplines to ensure seamless integration of reverse engineering data into product development cycles. Stay updated with the latest advancements in reverse engineering technologies and methodologies. Support the creation of technical documentation and reports. Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate innovative product ideas. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from Tier-1 or Tier-2 institution preferred. Strong foundation in engineering principles (Strength of Material, Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics and design concepts. Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks) is preferred. Good understanding of manufacturing processes and materials. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Desired Skills: Multi-deciplinary engineering team project executions Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing). Experience with data analysis and statistical methods. Knowledge of programming languages (Python, MATLAB, etc.) is a plus.
