Job Description

As a Mechanical Engineer at Buro Happold, you will be responsible for creating innovative, elegant, and sustainable engineering solutions for complex construction projects. Your role will involve undertaking detailed mechanical engineering design, preparing technical schedules, planning and managing CAD documentation, and mentoring and assisting Graduate Engineers. You will also have the opportunity to represent Buro Happold at meetings with clients, professionals, and suppliers, ensuring that service and project work are completed within deadlines and budget constraints. Key Responsibilities: - Undertake detailed mechanical engineering design - Prepare technical schedules - Plan and manage CAD documentation of design work - Monitor performance of Technicians - Represent Buro Happold at meetings with clients, professionals, and suppliers - Ensure service and project work are completed within deadlines and budget - Keep senior staff informed of important decisions and ensure objectives are achieved - Mentor and assist Graduate Engineers Qualifications Required: - 3-6 years" experience in mechanical engineering within an MEP Consultancy environment - Ability to work both independently and in a team-based organization - Broad building design knowledge - Proficiency in Excel, AutoCAD, Revit, IES, and Hevacomp software - Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from a reputed institute In addition to the exciting role as a Mechanical Engineer, Buro Happold offers a competitive salary and benefits package, including an Annual Discretionary Bonus, Comprehensive Health Insurance Scheme, and Group Personal Accident Cover.
