Education: B.E/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering Category 1: Junior Product Costing Engineer Experience: 03 years Key Skills: Strong communication skills to interact with cross-functional teams. Project management skills to handle costing-related activities effectively. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for cost analysis and reporting. Good academic record with a strong foundation in mechanical engineering principles. Understanding of BOM (Bill of Materials) and basic product cost analysis. Ability to collaborate with design, procurement, and finance teams to support costing activities. Responsibilities: Assist in cost estimation and analysis for new and existing products. Work closely with engineering and procurement teams to gather costing inputs . Support in cost optimization by analyzing material, labor, and manufacturing expenses. Develop cost models and reports for internal review and decision-making. Manage data in Excel for cost tracking, comparisons, and process improvements. Participate in cross-functional meetings to enhance project execution.
