Mechanical Design Technical Specialist

Role Overview: Applied R&D (AR) involves target-oriented research aimed at solving specific problems or answering questions, as well as the design, development, and implementation of hardware, software, and systems. In this role, you will provide techno-economic consulting to clients. The work in AR is detailed and complex, focusing on combining existing knowledge and practices to improve products, processes, and customer-specific features. Key Responsibilities: - Design new project schemes, conduct structural design and mold reviews, and review project requirements - Perform mechanical design of plastic parts, sheet metal parts, heatsinks, and die-casting parts, including product stacking design and tolerance analysis - Create related documents, drawings, BOM, and baseboard - Optimize the design of existing products and address mechanical issues during the product declaration cycle - Develop and implement new technologies to enhance production quality, capacity, and efficiency Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree with 8 years or master's degree with more than 5 years of experience in Mechanical Engineering or a related field - Proficiency in Creo, Ansys, AutoCAD, and CorelDRAW tools - Minimum 5 years of successful experience in Plastic, Die-casting, and Sheetmetal design with a solid understanding of tooling design - Experience with CPE/ONT/Wi-Fi router products mechanical design - Familiarity with safety regulations such as UL62368 for material and mechanical design constraints - Strong sense of responsibility, dedication, teamwork spirit, passion for learning new technologies, self-motivation, ability to work independently, excellent communication skills, results-oriented, and experience in cross-team collaboration - English proficiency is required, Mandarin is a plus.,
