Job Description

About the Role:

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and modify 3D models and 2D technical drawings using
SolidWorks
.
Collaborate with engineers to design and optimize mechanical components and assemblies.
Support new product development, focusing on design functionality and manufacturability.
Conduct
tolerance checks
,
material selection
, and
basic stress analysis
.
Interpret and review engineering drawings, specifications, and production data.
Participate in design reviews and contribute to improving design performance.
Prepare and maintain
design documentation
, revisions, and reports for project traceability.
Coordinate with manufacturing teams for prototyping and production feedback.

Qualifications:

B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
or related field.
Basic to intermediate knowledge of
SolidWorks
(3D modeling & 2D drafting).
Understanding of
mechanical fundamentals
, materials, and tolerance analysis.
Strong attention to detail with a focus on design accuracy and quality.
Good teamwork and communication skills.
Eagerness to learn and adapt to project requirements.

Preferred Skills:

Exposure to
prototyping or manufacturing
environments.
Familiarity with software like
AutoCAD or ANSYS
.
Awareness of
industry standards and design best practices
