Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role as a Mechanical Design Engineer located in Pirangut (Pune). The Mechanical Design Engineer will be responsible for tasks related to Design Engineering, Machine Design, Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, and Computer-Aided Design (CAD). QualificationsMechanical Engineer (BE/BTech) Desired Experience: 3 to 6 years Mandatory Skills and CompetenciesProven experience in the design and development of special-purpose and automated machines.Strong proficiency in SolidWorks for 3D modelling and drafting.Basic understanding of manufacturing processes.Capability to independently design and develop projects from concept to completion.Ability to interpret customer requirements and translate them into functional designs.Competence in selecting standard bought-out components such as bearings, electric motors, pneumatic actuators, linear actuators, ball screws, etc.A good command of mathematical calculations is required for mechanical design.Ability to evaluate design feasibility from both a technical and practical perspective.Self-driven with a proactive approach and willingness to take initiative.Basic electrical knowledge related to PLCS, sensors, and relays is an added advantage.A team player with the ability to meet project deadlines and contribute to cost-effective solutions. Job ResponsibilitiesUnderstand customer requirements and take ownership of designing special-purpose machines (SPMS) tailored to client needs.Responsible for the design and development of standard industrial measuring machines.Ensure timely delivery of design projects while maintaining quality and cost efficiency.
