Mechanical Design Engineer AutoCAD & SolidWorks

As an AutoCAD Design Engineer at our company, you will play a crucial role in creating precise technical drawings, 3D models, and designs for rubber and metal components and products in the manufacturing industry. Your responsibilities will include developing accurate 2D and 3D CAD drawings tailored to rubber and metal components, optimizing designs for manufacturability and cost-efficiency, and collaborating with various teams to ensure seamless integration of designs into manufacturing processes. Additionally, you will stay updated with advancements in CAD tools and manufacturing technologies. Key Responsibilities: - Develop accurate 2D and 3D CAD drawings using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or other CAD software specific to rubber and metal components. - Optimize designs for manufacturability, cost-efficiency, and compliance with industry standards and client expectations. - Conduct feasibility studies, material analysis, and calculations relevant to rubber and metal design applications. - Collaborate with production, quality assurance, and sales teams for seamless integration of designs. - Maintain and update design documentation, project files, and technical databases. - Provide technical support during prototyping and testing phases to ensure design accuracy and practical implementation. - Stay updated with advancements in CAD tools, rubber and metal manufacturing technologies, and industry trends. Qualifications & Skills: - Educational Qualifications: Diploma or Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field. - Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar CAD software. Strong understanding of rubber moulding, metal fabrication processes, and hybrid material design. - Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of professional experience in CAD design, preferably in the rubber and metal manufacturing industry. - Soft Skills: High attention to detail, analytical thinking, strong communication skills, and ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
