As the Head of Pathology, you will play a pivotal role in leading our pathology services, ensuring the highest standards of diagnostic testing, patient care, and staff development, while driving continuous quality improvements and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities: Perform microscopic and gross examination of clinical specimens including blood, urine, and tissue samples. Prepare and verify pathology reports with accuracy and timeliness. Supervise laboratory technicians and ensure compliance with quality control standards. Maintain documentation and ensure adherence to NABL and other regulatory guidelines. Examine samples for abnormalities indicating disease and communicate findings to the concerned medical teams. Perform specimen analysis using laboratory tools and diagnostic equipment to study samples and perform tests on bodily fluids and tissue specimens. Review and validate test results using checklists, medical software, and, when needed, retesting for accuracy and completeness. Prepare and sign off pathology reports summarizing test findings, diagnostic conclusions, and recommendations. Offer diagnostic opinions and suggest possible clinical correlations or treatment considerations where applicable. Support ongoing efforts in research and quality improvement to enhance test accuracy and disease detection methods. Stay current with advancements in pathology, laboratory practices, and relevant clinical developments. Qualifications & Experience: Qualification: MBBS MD Pathology Experience: 0–5 years (Freshers with sound knowledge may also apply).
