Customer Services (CS) covers customer service in different areas such as technical support, account support, operations, maintenance, network design / deployment / integration / transformation, and education. Generates revenue and the increase of customer satisfaction through planning, designing, deploying, integrating, optimising, operating, and maintaining phases.
Subfamily Description
Managed Services (MSE) is responsible for keeping the network running and proposing / conducting network upgrades based on business requirements. Covers technical managing and operating of agreed components of IT and telecommunications services provided to end users of Nokia customers, within contracts agreed with those customers.
Key Responsibilities
HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
- Baseline Assessment Support
- Automated Scan Execution: Initiate and monitor scheduled quarterly and ad-hoc compliance scans using the designated MBSS tool.
- Data Collection: Assist in gathering command outputs and system configurations for Unique Node Definitions across different vendors and OS versions.
- New Node Artifact Gathering: Collate security artifacts from project teams to support the MBSS validation process for new nodes entering production.
- First-Level Troubleshooting: Identify and report connectivity issues between the MBSS tool and network nodes to the tool administration team.
- Compliance Documentation & Reporting
- Report Generation: Extract automated compliance reports from the MBSS tool and format them for distribution to various Lines of Business (LOBs).
- Dashboard Maintenance: Update operational dashboards with the latest scan data to ensure real-time visibility for the MBSS Lead.
- Evidence Management: Maintain a centralized repository of OEM signoffs and hardening design templates for audit readiness.
- Remediation Administrative Support
- Closure Coordination: Send automated notifications and follow-up emails to Asset Custodians regarding open non-compliance issues.
- Status Tracking: Log the progress of vulnerability closures in the tracking system and flag overdue items to the L2 Engineer.
- Meeting Support: Assist in preparing technical slide decks and status updates for weekly operational governance meetings.

- Education: Bachelor's Degree (B.E. / B.Tech) in Computer Science, IT, or Electronics & Telecommunications.
- Preferred Certifications:
- CompTIA Security+ (Foundational security knowledge).
- CCNA (Basic networking and command collection).
- eJPT or GSEC (Entry-level security testing).
- Experience Level: 14 Years

Knowledge of CIS Benchmarks, NIST, and hardening for various OS/OEM Products (especially Telecom & IT). Experience in creating baseline standards for diverse Telecom & IT OEMs (Nokia, Ericsson, Cisco, Juniper, etc.)Basic familiarity with automated scanning tools (e.g., Nessus, Qualys, or custom MBSS tools).
Foundational Security
Understanding of basic hardening concepts and the purpose of CIS Benchmarks/NIST standards.
Operating Systems
Basic command-line proficiency in
Linux/Unix, Windows & Telecom/IT Network elements
