Role & responsibilities In case of organ donation: Must do extra hours. Coordinate interaction between ICU / treating doctors and relatives, ICU donor management under the guidance of ICU staff/ Transplant Team, liase with physicians in charge of recipients, admission of recipients, schedule OTs for surgery, coordinate sharing of organs between teams intra hospital and with other institutions. Ensure timely, smooth and respectful return of body to relatives (including case where body is shifted to another centre of PM), and smoothen the bill clearing etc. with authorisation from HMS. Ensure letters of thanks to relatives, and all personnel /institutions involved. Maintain records/ documents of relatives permission, / brain death certificates etc in all cases of organ donation. Coordinate availability of requisite Forensic (post-mortem) support and police permission etc. in MLC cases. Meetings Coordinating with all the stakeholders and arrangements for Authorization Meetings for all cases. Documentation Ensure completeness of all the documentation required for both Living Donor and Deceased donor transplants. Ensure that all the documents (Medical & legal) for all patients are maintained as per the hospital policy and as per the recommendation of NOTTO (National Organ and Tissue Transplant Organization) /Delhi Organ Transplant Cell ANY OTHER WORK AS PER THE ORGANIZATION REQUIREMENT Preferred candidate profile Any Graduate with minimum experience of 1 year as Transplant Coordinator.
