Position: IoT Engineer (Founding Team Member) Department: Product Development / Engineering Location: Vijayawada, India Employment Type: Full-Time, Work from Office Working Mode & Schedule Employment Type: Full-time, Work from Office Working Days: Monday to Saturday 2nd and 4th Saturday Off May be required to work during emergency situations or project deadlines Work-Life Balance: We value personal time and aim to minimize weekend or holiday work , especially after the first product adoption in the market. Traveling: Frequent travel all over India is required , and long stays may be needed if extended on-site testing of IoT products is necessary. About Maviot Technologies Maviot Technologies Pvt. Ltd. is an Product Based Industrial IoT startup developing real-time monitoring solutions to help industries enhance visibility, automation, and operational efficiency. As a founding team member , you will play a key role in shaping the company’s technology direction, product design, and engineering culture from the ground up. Job Summary We are looking for an experienced and passionate IoT Engineer with 2–3 years of experience in embedded systems and IoT product development. You will design, develop, and deploy connected industrial systems using sensors, microcontrollers, and cloud technologies. Frequent travel across India and long-term stays for product testing may be required. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and test IoT devices and systems using microcontrollers (ESP32, STM32, Arduino, Raspberry Pi, etc.) Integrate various sensors, actuators, and communication modules (Wi-Fi, GSM, LoRa, BLE, Modbus, etc.) Develop embedded firmware using C/C++ or Python Work with IoT cloud platforms such as AWS IoT, Azure IoT, or ThingsBoard Collaborate with backend Web and mobile app teams for data integration Develop dashboards for real-time monitoring and analytics Conduct field testing, calibration, and performance validation ( may involve long stays at client sites ) Optimize for power efficiency, reliability, and scalability Prepare documentation, test reports, and maintenance guides Required Skills and Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical, Computer Science, or related fields 2 to 3 years of relevant IoT hardware and firmware experience Proficiency in C, C++, or Python for embedded systems Experience with IoT protocols (MQTT, HTTP, Modbus, etc.) Hands-on experience with PCB testing, circuit debugging, and sensor interfacing Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and debugging abilities Familiarity with cloud-based IoT integrations Preferred Qualifications Prior work experience in Industrial IoT Exposure to AI/ML integration or data analytics in IoT Experience with RESTful APIs and version control (Git) Understanding of IoT security and encryption standards Soft Skills Entrepreneurial and ownership mindset Excellent communication and teamwork skills Proactive, innovative, and self-motivated Adaptable to startup pace and evolving challenges Strong sense of responsibility and learning attitude Compensation & Benefits Minimum Salary: ₹30,000 per month. Higher compensation may be considered for deserving candidates based on experience and skills. Accommodation: Provided for bachelors only (excluding food) Revision: Compensation will be revised periodically based on performance and growth ESOP Option: Eligible after 1.5 years of performance-based commitment, with vesting starting from the allocation date.
