We are hiring a Founding Engineer. About Us: Maven is an AI platform for finance that consolidates context from communication channels and internal / external data sources, accessible directly within daily work tools like Excel and PowerPoint through our AI-native plugins. We’re backed by a US-based early-stage venture capital firm. Cultural Requirements: Good communication and ability to work independently (as the role will be fully remote) Ownership and responsibility over the features Fast learner and open to picking new technical skills on the go Use of latest AI tools to maximise productivity Technical Requirements: Familiarity and experience developing with latest AI models, RAG, context engineering, etc. Knowledge of Python, Typescript, TanStack Query, Redis, etc. Knowledge of Websockets, Vector and Graph Databases (use in LLMs.) Good UI taste and knowledge of latest UI component libraries Bonus: You are good with UI design (used libs like Shadcn, Material UI, etc.) Worked with Office JS API Worked with creating data connectors You have done AI research before You are a cool person to talk to Notes: Fully remote (Full time 5 days a week) Flexible work hours, but may need to work overtime based on business needs. 2 months probation period.
