Job Description

Teach MYP Mathematics in alignment with IB curriculum objectives, ensuring conceptual understanding and interdisciplinary connections. Teach IBDP Mathematics (Analysis Approaches and/or Applications Interpretation, SL/HL) as per the IB syllabus, preparing students for Internal Assessments and External Examinations . Develop inquiry-based lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities. Guide students in Internal Assessments (IA) and Extended Essays (EE) , ensuring strong research and analytical rigour. Utilize real-world applications, mathematical modelling, and technology (Desmos, GeoGebra, TI calculators, etc.) to enhance student understanding. Foster critical thinking and problem-solving skills through discussions, explorations, and investigations. Integrate Theory of Knowledge (TOK) and global perspectives into Mathematics teaching. Stay updated with IB curriculum developments, assessment reports, and best pedagogical practices. Participate in faculty meetings, school events, residential responsibilities , and professional development programs . Qualifications Skills: Masterdegree in Mathematics . IB-certified training (preferred) and prior experience in MYP IBDP Mathematics teaching. Minimum 5 years of teaching experience in international curricula. Strong understanding of IB assessment criteria, command terms, and mark schemes . Ability to integrate technology and digital tools effectively in Mathematics teaching.
