Material Flow Specialist

**Role Overview:** As a Material Flow Specialist for Hitachi Energy's Transformers Business in Vadodara, Gujarat, India, you will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient and cost-effective production results that meet order demand, specifications, quality, and planning targets. Your responsibilities will include coordinating and managing plant equipment, personnel, and production processes to maintain the proper productivity level. **Key Responsibilities:** - Track material movement from dispatch in Sweden to receipt at the Vadodara factory. - Coordinate with Project Management in Sweden to address any issues noticed with the supplied material kits. - Ensure proper storage of received material at the Vadodara factory. - Handle and facilitate smooth material movement at the Vadodara factory. - Ensure the availability of correct and required material at respective workstations according to the production plan. - Coordinate between Planning, Stores, Production, Quality, and Project Management regarding the kits received from Sweden. - Create, maintain, and enhance functional relationships with operational and organizational departments to gather input on product and process requirements. - Collaborate with the continuous improvement team to implement new processes or improvement ideas. **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (BE/BTech). - Minimum 6 to 8 years of experience in Power Transformer manufacturing and Stores Management, with knowledge of Project Management being an added advantage. - Demonstrated complete knowledge of production activities. - Familiarity with IATF16949, ISO14001, and OSHA regulations. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent verbal, communication, and leadership abilities. - Capable of leading, motivating, and coordinating team efforts to achieve goals. - Proficiency in both spoken and written English language.
