The Role We’re looking for a hands-on Embedded Systems & Hardware Engineer with experience in satellite communication modules (Iridium / Inmarsat / Globalstar) to help us bring a world-first device to life. You’ll lead the technical development from concept to prototype , integrating: Voice calling (via satellite) Two-way text messaging SOS/emergency functionality Bluetooth + small display/microphone/speaker integration This is not just another engineering job—it’s an opportunity to invent something that doesn’t exist yet . What You’ll Do Design and prototype hardware around satellite OEM modules (e.g., Iridium 9523). Build firmware for voice, text, and SOS functionality. Collaborate with RF engineers and PCB designers to optimize size and power efficiency. Work by yourself or a product team to integrate calling system (cloud + app backend). Guide us through testing, certification, and early manufacturing discussions.
