Markit EDM Developer

As a Markit EDM Developer, your role involves designing, reviewing technical documentation, developing, unit testing, and supporting solutions. You will be responsible for assessing changes/requirements, providing effort estimation, and coordinating/collaborating with different teams. Additionally, you will provide support and on-the-job training to less experienced team members, interact with clients/onsite counterparts, and lead project/team members. Key Responsibilities: - Design, review, and update technical documentation. - Develop, unit test, and provide support for solutions. - Assess changes/requirements and provide effort estimation. - Coordinate and collaborate with different teams. - Provide support and on-the-job training to less experienced team members. - Interact with clients/onsite counterparts. - Lead project/team members. Qualifications Required: - Design, develop, and test on the Markit EDM tool. - Hands-on experience (7+ years) working on an ETL tool like Informatica or SSIS. - Hands-on experience (7+ years) working on SQL Server. - Proficiency in T-SQL, performance tuning, data modeling, and troubleshooting. - Excellent data modeling techniques. - Strong communication skills. - Self-starter capable of working independently. - Excellent analytical and debugging skills. In addition to the required skills, experience interfacing with management, working on SQL Server 2014, Finance domain knowledge, functional knowledge, Master Data Management experience, and working on IIS would be desirable for this role.,
