Role & responsibilities: Marketing Responsibilities : Market Research & Analysis : Conduct in-depth market research to understand industry trends, customer needs, and competitor activity within the electrical manufacturing sector. Brand Strategy : Develop and implement marketing strategies to enhance brand visibility and positioning, ensuring alignment with the companys goals and objectives. Digital Marketing : Plan and execute online marketing campaigns, including email marketing, social media, SEO/SEM, and online ads to generate leads and boost product awareness. Content Creation : Collaborate with internal teams to create marketing materials, product brochures, case studies, white papers, website content, and social media posts. Event Management : Organize and manage industry events, trade shows, webinars, and conferences to showcase the companys products and services. Customer Relationship Management (CRM) : Use CRM tools to track leads, manage customer data, and maintain relationships with key accounts. Tendering Responsibilities : Tender Management : Oversee the entire process of preparing and submitting tenders, including reading and understanding tender documents, collaborating with technical teams, and ensuring all submissions are complete and compliant. Bid Preparation : Prepare technical and commercial proposals, ensuring that the pricing, terms, and specifications meet customer requirements while being competitive. Coordination with Cross-Functional Teams : Work closely with engineering, finance, and legal departments to ensure all technical, financial, and contractual aspects of tenders are properly addressed. Tender Strategy : Identify opportunities in public and private sector tenders and develop strategies to optimize win rates and competitiveness. Tender Submission & Follow-Up : Ensure timely submission of tenders and follow up with clients for feedback, clarification, and potential negotiations. Documentation & Record Keeping : Maintain a library of previous tenders, proposals, and responses for future reference and process improvement. Additional Responsibilities : Reporting & Analysis : Track and analyze marketing and tendering performance metrics to continuously improve strategies and identify areas of opportunity. Stakeholder Communication : Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, customers, and external partners to foster long-term business relationships. Product Knowledge : Stay updated on the latest trends and innovations in the electrical manufacturing industry to effectively position our products in the market. Qualifications : Education : Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Electrical Engineering, or related field. Additional certifications in tendering or project management are a plus. Experience : Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in marketing or tendering within the electrical or manufacturing industry. Skills : Strong knowledge of marketing techniques, including digital marketing, market research, and branding. Proven experience in preparing and submitting tenders, with a solid understanding of tender documentation, legal terms, and bid evaluation. Ability to communicate complex technical information clearly to clients and internal teams. Strong negotiation and presentation skills. Proficient in using CRM software, MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and tendering tools. Attributes : Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills. Strong ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Collaborative and able to work cross-functionally with different teams. Analytical mindset with the ability to assess market trends and tender opportunities. Preferred candidate profile: Experience working in the electrical manufacturing or industrial sectors. Knowledge of electrical products, systems, and technologies. Experience in project management and an understanding of the tender lifecycle.
