Role Overview

We're hiring our first dedicated Marketing Lead a scrappy generalist who loves storytelling, experimentation, and data-driven growth. You will own marketing end-to-end: product marketing, content, demand generation, social, analytics, and early brand development. This is a builder role for someone who thrives in ambiguity and wants to directly influence the trajectory of a fast-moving startup.

What You'll Do

• Develop and own the end-to-end marketing strategy for StepsAI
• Craft clear, compelling messaging and positioning that resonates with our ICP
• Produce high-quality content (blogs, case studies, landing pages, social posts, email sequences)
• Run fast experiments across channels: organic, paid, email, partnerships, SEO, and communities
• Manage and optimize the marketing funnel (traffic ? leads ? conversions)
• Work closely with founders to refine GTM motion, ICP, and value propositions
• Build lightweight automation, dashboards, and tracking to measure performance
• Support the sales team with collateral, decks, and nurture flows
• Conduct customer and market research to inform product and messaging
• Establish the foundation for a scalable marketing function as we grow

What Makes You a Great Fit

• Full-stack marketing ability you can write, design lightly, run experiments, analyze data, and ship quickly
• Strong copywriting and storytelling skills
• Deep empathy for customers and ability to translate insights into messaging
• Analytical mindset comfortable with metrics, attribution, funnels, CAC, and dashboards
• Bias for action you move fast, test ideas, and iterate without waiting for large budgets or perfect assets
• Comfortable operating in ambiguity and building systems from scratch
• Technical curiosity you enjoy playing with AI tools, automation, CRMs, and analytics platforms
• Startup mindset: ownership, resilience, creativity, and willingness to wear many hats
• Prior experience in B2B SaaS or AI is a plus, but not required
