Job Description

How You ll Make an Impact Digital Marketing Specialist I will support member retention efforts using an effective requirement gathering and synthesis intake process to inform the technical development of campaigns designed to achieve the business goals. The role will analyze data pulled from various sources to provide information on channel performance as well as segment and group-specific reporting. Role will be expected to translate business needs into business solutions through collaboration with marketing business areas and cross-functional department Responsibilities Include Assists in measuring the results of recent marketing efforts by customer segment, channel and product offers through in-depth data analysis. Identifies key target audiences. Provides recommendations for improved targeting, looking for opportunities to expand or narrow selections for optimal campaign performance based on response and overall profitability. Drives campaign planning processes and keep a pulse on the latest measurement methodologies to measure efficacy of spend across all marketing channels. Works with channel and product marketing teams to determine campaign goals (e.g. performance vs. awareness), develop cross-channel measurement plans and KPIs to ensure results are measurable and actionable. Develops campaign insights to evaluate marketing effectiveness and inform optimization and future go-to-market strategies and decisions. Provides regular business critical reports on marketing performance, ensuring consistency, accuracy and timeliness with actionable insights on learnings. Builds and executes marketing cloud campaigns, journeys across the marketing cloud studio suite. Performs data segmentation and ensures data hygiene by adhering to the data model. Build and execute data segments in Data Cloud. Manage campaign reporting and analytics, leveraging Marketing Intelligence Studio. Other duties and responsibilities as determined by Valvoline from time to time in its sole discretion. What You ll Need Bachelor s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred 1 -2 years previous work experience in Marketing or related field Experience in working with Salesforce marketing cloud or equivalent Experience in data management, data quality assessment of large data sets Experience in Google analytics Proficiency in Excel, powerpoint Strong inter-personal skills, communication, and organizational skills - written and verbal. Ability to communicate issues and recommend solutions in a timely manner. Desire to learn and grow professionally grow. Specifically willing to learn in these areas: Strong interest in marketing automation, B2B email, digital, messaging, marketing campaigns, and customer experience.
