Job Description

Role Overview: As a contractor based in India providing 40-hours worth of marketing data analytics support per week, you will play a crucial role in enabling data-driven decision making across lifecycle management, retention, and acquisition marketing initiatives. Collaborating closely with lifecycle marketing, growth, and product teams, your responsibilities will involve designing tracking mechanisms, generating insights, and optimizing user journeys through the funnel. Your primary focus will be on analyzing customer behavior, tracking key marketing metrics, and offering actionable recommendations to enhance conversion, retention, and engagement across various channels. Additionally, you will be involved in AI implementations in Databricks to enhance overall analytics efficiency. Key Responsibilities: - Develop dashboards and automated reports to monitor funnel performance, campaign effectiveness, and cohort retention metrics. - Create scalable data transformation processes that serve as a foundation for AI integration. - Translate business objectives into clear analytical frameworks and deliver insights that shape marketing and lifecycle strategy. - Work in collaboration with Data Engineering to ensure robust data pipelines and scalable reporting structures. - Present insights and recommendations to stakeholders using visualizations and succinct storytelling. Core Skills Required: - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of transforming data into actionable insights. - Proficiency in Databricks tool, previous experience with Databricks preferred. - Proficient in SQL and Python for statistical analysis and automation. - Familiarity with Tableau for data visualization. - Experience in establishing or validating marketing tracking frameworks and event instrumentation. - Excellent communication and data storytelling abilities for effective cross-functional collaboration. - Proactive mindset, self-starter attitude, and familiarity with task management tools like Jira, Monday, etc. - Ability to work confidently in ambiguous situations, translating vague concepts into tangible outcomes. Qualifications: - Education: Bachelors degree in Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline. - Experience: Minimum 5+ years of experience in Marketing Analytics, Product Analytics, or Customer Lifecycle analytics roles. - Previous experience with AI/BI tools in Databricks is considered a plus point.
