Job Description

Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field. (MBA in Marketing or a relevant postgraduate qualification is a plus.) Experience: 36 years of experience in marketing and/or corporate communications roles. Experience working in a startup or handling broad marketing responsibilities across channels is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of digital marketing tools and tactics including SEO/SEM, social media marketing, email marketing, and content creation. Hands-on experience with analytics tools (Google Analytics, social media insights) to drive decision-making is important. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to craft compelling messages and adapt tone/style for different channels (press releases vs. social media posts, for example). Creative mindset with the ability to think strategically. You should be able to both conceptualize innovative campaigns and manage the detailed execution of marketing plans. Demonstrated ability to manage projects and meet deadlines. Strong organizational skills and the capacity to juggle multiple campaigns and tasks in parallel. Familiarity with branding and design basics – comfortable working with designers or using basic design/editing tools to ensure content is visually appealing and on-brand. Enthusiastic about the company’s mission and able to communicate that passion to others. A proactive, self-starter attitude is key for taking ownership of marketing in a small team environment. Responsibilities: Develop and implement an overall marketing strategy for the company, combining digital marketing, content marketing, and communication campaigns to increase brand awareness and customer acquisition. Manage the companys online presence – oversee website content, social media accounts, email newsletters, and other digital channels. Regularly create engaging content (posts, articles, infographics, etc.) that resonates with our target audience. Plan and execute marketing campaigns and product/service launches. Coordinate across teams to gather necessary information and ensure campaigns are delivered on time and within budget. Handle communications and PR activities: draft press releases, success stories, and other PR materials; maintain relationships with media outlets or partners for publicity opportunities. Ensure brand consistency in all marketing materials and communications. Develop guidelines as needed to maintain a cohesive brand voice and visual identity. Analyze marketing and sales data (web analytics, social media engagement, campaign performance, lead generation metrics) to evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns. Provide reports and insights to the team, and use data to refine strategies for better results. Collaborate with external vendors or freelancers (e.g. graphic designers, content writers, PR agencies) when required, and supervise their work to meet quality and brand standards. Support internal communications and team updates about marketing initiatives, ensuring everyone in the startup is informed and can act as brand ambassadors.
