- Lead and mentor the EE Vehicle Test & Validation team, ensuring knowledge transfer and skill development.
- Define team objectives, monitor performance, and provide coaching/feedback.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Design, Software, ADAS, Connectivity, Charging, Quality).
- Ensure adherence to company policies, compliance, and safety standards during test activities.
- Contribute to test project budgeting, resource allocation, and cost optimization.
- Plan, organize, and manage full vehicle validation schedules in line with project milestones.
- Drive issue closure through structured defect tracking and regular reviews with stakeholders.
- Define the vehicle-level EE validation strategy, ensuring coverage across all relevant domains (Infotainment, Connectivity, ADAS, Diagnostics, Charging, Body Electronics, etc.).
- Plan and execute end-to-end validation campaigns on full vehicles, covering functional, integration, performance, and durability aspects.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards (ECE, AIS, FMVSS, NCAP, ISO 26262, ISO 15118, etc.) for EE-related features.
- Drive issue identification, root cause investigation, and reporting with complete evidence (logs, traces, videos).
- Provide regular test progress reports (daily, weekly, milestone-based) to management and escalate risks.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical & Electronics /Automotive Electronics or equivalent
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in automotive or Electrical/Electronics company
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in Homologation and Compliance validation regarding EE
- Have a solid knowledge of EE domain
- Deep knowledge of regional regulations and standards in India market. Strong understanding about local customer expectations, traffic behavior and local geographic to develop customer use case
- Experience in using tools: CANoe, Automation…
- Be open to working in VF MFG plant, Thoothukudi (Tuticorin), Tamil Nadu. Be willing to undertake occasional international travel for project-related tasks or training opportunities.
