Job Description: You will be responsible for working directly with the business to better understand their needs related to primary and secondary market research, forecasting, field force sizing, segmentation, targeting, and analytics. Your role will involve acting as a conduit between the business and Global Business Services (GBS) to facilitate support activities. You will determine business requirements and then engage GBS to perform the necessary work, ensuring that the GBS output meets local needs. Key Responsibilities: - Plan and design market research analyses based on a solid understanding of research tools, techniques, datasets, and resources available at different stages of the product life-cycle - Demonstrate functional knowledge and experience using statistical methodologies and analytical models - Provide effective guidance for planning studies, including designing research materials - Offer input and guidance on report structure to present complex analysis in a user-friendly and easily understandable manner - Suggest alternative proposals, different approaches, and optimizations for alignment with other studies on local, regional, and global levels - Assist in delivering financial targets for market research, deeply understanding customer needs, and promoting MR service development - Meet performance metrics to contribute to overall financial success and department goals Qualifications Required: - 7-8 years of work experience in market research or specialist agencies, with significant experience in conducting small and large multi-country market research studies - Experience in working across regions within a commercial market research team, managing projects from start to finish - Preferred: Knowledge of disease areas within the Pharma sector and strong presentation skills - University degree in BA/BS/MA in business, statistics/mathematics, medicine, sciences, health economics, sociology, or psychology - Fluency in English with superior written composition skills Additional Details: Novartis is committed to creating an inclusive work environment and diverse teams that represent the patients and communities they serve.
