Market Maker Analyst

We are looking for a motivated and analytical Market Maker to join our proprietary trading desk. This role involves supporting senior traders, contributing to liquidity provision, executing trades, and optimizing market-making strategies across various asset classes. It is ideal for candidates who are highly quantitative, disciplined, and passionate about markets. 

Responsibilities

• Monitor market conditions, price movements, order flow, and liquidity across assigned products. 
• Execute trades based on defined strategies while adhering to risk limits. 
• Maintain tight bid-ask spreads and manage inventory efficiently. 
• Analyse trading data to identify inefficiencies and improve execution. 
• Work with the tech team to refine trading algorithms, tools, and dashboards. 
• Prepare daily profit and loss, risk and trade reports. . 
• Respond to market events quickly and make data-driven decisions. 
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and exchange regulations. 

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science. 
• Minimum 2 years of experience in proprietary trading 
• Proven experience as a trader with a successful track record
• In-depth understanding of volatility trading, market making and risk management
• In-depth knowledge of financial markets, derivatives, and options trading strategies
• Exposure to algo trading tools or market simulation environments. 
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science. 
• Basic knowledge of C++/Python 

Skills

• Strong understanding of financial markets, derivatives, and microstructure basics. 
• Excellent analytical and quantitative skills. 
• Proficiency in Excel; basic knowledge of Python or other scripting languages is a plus. 
• Ability to work under pressure and make quick, accurate decisions. 
• Strong communication and team collaboration skills. 
• High attention to detail and discipline with risk management.
